Ian Gunn’s JoyceTools is a collection of valuable resources and of great interest to readers of Joyce. It includes historical maps (of Dublin, the city’s trams and train routes, etc.), a fully digitised and word-searchable Thom’s Directory (1904), important Joyce publications, and other resources. Ian Gunn is co-author of James Joyce’s Dublin: A Topographical Guide to the Dublin of Ulysses. He has made these resources available in honour of Clive Hart, “one of the pioneers of the empirical study of James Joyce’s works”.
